Below are some of the frequently asked questions

This will be my first time in the country, how will I find my way around?

Our in-country support starts from the the country's international airport (upon your arrival) and ends at the airport (on your departure). Our staffs will be on standby at all times.

Can I travel with my friends?

Absolutely! You can travel with anyone you want, whether in a group/ as a family/ school/ church etc. Talk to us about your plans!

Are there any English speaking requirements?


Yes. You need to be able to speak and understand English to be able to volunteer (at least at B1 or pre-intermediate levels)

Do I need to be 18 and above to volunteer?

Yes. Anyone younger maybe accompanied by an adult or a chaperone (schools/groups) etc.

I have a diet restriction, will that be a problem at the accommodation?

No. We will have a separate meal made for you to ensure it does not affect you in anyway. You will need to state this diet restriction/allergies in your application form.



What type of rooms will I get?

Unless you choose to be with a host-family on an island project, there are dorms and shared bedroom like rooms. You can choose to get your own room (conditions apply)

Why do I need to go through the application process?

Projects have experience, age, skills or language requirements.

What information will you need from me?

Contact information, the project you wish to apply for, starting date, documents and some background information. All personal information will be kept confidential.

Will I be able to do multiple projects?

Yes. You may do so after completing a whole week of a particular project. However you should indicate this, on your application. Changes can be made 2weeks before you start your project.
